I’m using the costume for decorative purposes only for my Nutcracker Suite themed Christmas by placing it on a metal dress maker form, so I’m not reviewing their use as a costume, however the quality is very nice. The fabric is a stretch velvet, and it’s heavily beaded and appliqués and seemed to be sown well. The royal blue color is deep and intense. I’d say it’s well worth it.

This is a real, high quality, professional ballet costume. It has a stiff multi-layered accordion tutu with a proper wire hoop. It comes in proper adult dancer sizes, but do measure. As is the norm for this maker, the trims are fabulous, the fabric is quality, and matching sleeves are included. Costume is made on a proper leotard with adjustable flush colored straps. Paired with nice heavy jeweled tiara, this could be worn in any ballet competition or ballet company. Although some styles take a while to ship, quality is every bit as good as one could expect for a costume four or five times the price. Mine arrived, as usual, in perfect condition, with no weird smells or textures. As a repeat customer, who has bought this from this company for herself, her children and her students, I will likely continue to purchase.
